My Black Sabbath 1970-2017 box set from Ebay arrived! Right now, listening to Mob Rules...the opening track, Turn Up The Night, is killer! So good sounding and got my head banging! The solo in there,...
Well, thanks for stopping by and taking the time to clarify, much appreciated!
Makes a thread referencing the book...gets a reply from the author of the book! Who would've thought it! I recall there being another thread about an author of a Black Sabbath book on here, but...
Happy 71st birthday, Ozzy!
That's what's so great about Megalomania, you can either apply it to Sabbath's situation at the time of recording it, or apply it to anything else, including personal struggles for example.

So far, Wheels of Confusion
also, You Won't Change Me
Thanks for posting! Downloaded it as well. Intriguing that there's a second verse in there.
"Thematically, "The Writ" and "Megalomania" are intertwined, according to drummer Ward, as they both deal with the same tensions arising from these ongoing legal troubles." I presume this line, found...
Probably old info you people already know about, but I found out recently by reading the Wikipedia page about Sabotage, it cited a Black Sabbath book that said that according to Bill Ward,...
Children of the Grave
Isn't he working on remixing Forbidden? But yea new music from the riff master would be appreciated.
Pretty well done from what I heard so far! Thanks for sharing.
I purchased it! Can't wait for it to arrive
I liked the song. Ozzy's vocal melodies and how the song switches at parts from acoustic to heavy, I liked alot. Looking forward to more material from this album, Ordinary Man.
I like NSD! better...it's songs resonate with me more in general than H&H...I like most of the music on H&H but the lyrics (for the most part) don't truly resonate with me the way Geezer's lyrics do.
Thanks for letting me know about this! I may try to get it when I have the chance.
Stumbled upon this on Youtube and currently listening to it, it's pretty great so far! Hope it's a sign a Day of Errors album is coming out soon!
Whoa my ears!!!!!! Very sinister sounding song! Great job Bill and Day of Errors!
R.I.P. Ginger Baker, Cream was a great band. I only know them for Sunshine of your Love, but it's a great song.
Here's to Black Sabbath the album's 50th anniversary today!
Did you listen to any Sabbath today to celebrate? I started my music listening today by listening to Black Sabbath the song as a...
I really like the song She's Gone from Technical Esctacy. I'm glad this thread exists. The music is haunting yet the lyrics are sad. Ozzy's performance of the lyrics is so well done. I'm glad Emerald...
Out of nowhere! Gave it a listen, it's not too bad! His voice is indeed similar to his 70's voice, and liked the unpredictability in the song as well...some moments were calm, then came to a halt,...
Indeed, indeed! In Ozzy's words from a live show: "That's the way!"
I don't follow solo Ozzy stuff like at all, but that's great it came out of nowhere! Honestly you never know with Sabbath, might just happen but keep the expectations in check that's all.
