Manufacturing a DVD or BluRay is pretty cheap compared to manufacturing and distributing two different box sets with only one of the two options in it.

I was talking about the download, not the actual lps of course. I just assumed back then that they used the latest (2009) digital remaster for the mp3s.

Ooops, I didn't know that. I always thought those downloads would be identical to the 2009 cds. Now I really hope that download code is still working.

There actually are versions available that include a DVD (or BluRay) and a CD. Just not a standalone CD. Also omitting 4 songs to fit on one CD. I would love to see a vinyl release of the full set.
