H&H gets my vote, overall I consider it to be so much better than NSD. I agree about Geezer's lyrics being better than RJD's, although I think they both write some stellar lyrics.

Congrats OID. Although I've been a Member of these Forums since 2007 I don't know if I'll ever come close to your post count. Talk about dedication to Sabbath!

Hmm, I just happened to check Blabbermouth and saw a comment posted about this. I did so because I recalled that another thread had been started (in another Forum here) not very long ago regarding...
I agree with the above sentiment.

Wow. So would these be the 3 versions:
1. Song For Jim (instrumental)
2. Song For Jim (with 'scratch' vocals)
3. Song For Jim (live, with vocals)

Awesome. You are a Trouper!

Although I am into obtaining more from Sabbath's very early and pre-history, I confess that I'm still holding out for previously unreleased material from the Vol. 4, SBS and Sabotage eras most of...
^^ That's great, I'm glad you were able to find it.
Ted
So if true, does that mean there are (at least) 2 recordings of Song For Jim?
The plot thickens...
Ted
Sounds like it.

Thanks BTE; I listened to the recording 70sOzzyBlackSabbah! provided again and it does sound like a cleaned up version of the recording I have. FYI I checked the Timelines section of this site but...
Unfortunately the recording I have is on an audio cassette tape so not really easy for me to upload it. Actually, if I remember correctly, I obtained my recording of the song via a link in this...
Thank you very much for sharing this. I've had an audio recording of Dave Walker's performance of Junior's Eyes with Sabbath on UK TV for quite a long time; overall, my recording sounds 'rougher'...
I like WW. It's never been my favourite H&H song, though, and I like the mid-section incl. the guitar solo the most.

Thank you BlackSabbathOddities! Yours is exactly the kind of thread that makes me (us) glad to both be a Sabbath fan and a frequent visitor to this website/these Forums. I too am looking forward to...
^^ Thanks for your reply, Sabman and that's very nice of you to want to limit your criticism of Dehumanizer here for that reason. Having different tastes and preferences is one thing we should all...
I agree with turch118. For me the order of Dio-Sabbath albums is Mob Rules, Heaven and Hell, Dehumanizer then The Devil You Know.
