I've always had the fast and heavy Turn to Stone as a favorite from that album.

Turn to Stone is the 9th best Sabbath track #3 ,,,, they have 25 (2 albums don't have a track 3 , and "13" is a double album .... so only "Loner" counts) ,, Top ten not bad!

Got an idea to record a Thin Lizzy cover for Father's Day in honor of my late Dad.

Cowboy Song is a song we used to jam in our basement and on gigs since the very first times our family band started playing together. It was one of those songs that we just nailed on the first go, and it got even better with each performance. I got the feeling that dad really loved to drum to this tune. I have vivid memories of dad playing and singing Cowboy Song on his acoustic from my childhood. Lizzy was THE band for him.

Happy Father's Day dad, wherever you are

    Thanks man!

I am forever grateful to my Dad for many things, but music is maybe biggest of them. Without his love for rock music who knows where I would've gravitated? And of course playing music runs in the family on my Dad's side as well

..... honorable mention (the Roller affect)

    CIRCLES - Ward on fire

SOMETIMES I'M HAPPY (What To Do) - every version worth the price of admission

Doc, you're not 'Out of Your Mind' (see what I did there?). That's a brilliant track, only hinting at what that lineup could have delivered, over a full length album.

Gonna put some money aside for the deluxe 'The End' set. Can't wait to see it again, and hear the full 'Angelic Sessions'!

^^^ Was awesome my good brother!!

WhoCares on LP had so much warmth and detail .... "Holy Water" was astounding!!

Was in such a rush yesterday - What I ment to say was "Out Of My Mind" through a 'DVD AUDIO' (not SACD) transfer by Meridian (not Meredian) was the most dynamic presentation I have ever heard ,, true separation of instrumentation - breathtaking!!

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING BSO!!

    I pray that it helped.

You're right, Doc. Both drummers of supreme ability, but 'Trashed' is Ward's, and Ward's alone. IMO.

    Hey Ronn,
I'm sure some of what I have is rare, but I'm sure that Doc would have it as well. I'm just lucky enough to have collected some stuff over the years Doc knows what's on my Sabbath bucket list, if you will. Some of that is a lot more rare

Merry Christmas to BSO, and The Listen!
