Black Rain was very good as well. Scream was the first Ozzy album I didn't care for at all.

Scream is a good album. Many folks just don't want to like it.

Has anyone else noticed that the upcoming Ozzy shows are billed as "featuring Zakk Wylde". I don't know why, but that kind of shocks me.

Yeah I saw that. I guess it's them trying to push the reunion thing since it's so popular

One guess might be that in the revolving door guitarist line-up Ozzy's had in the last years, Zakk who along with Randy've been Ozzy's right hand man more than any (not many in the main public remember Jake E. Lee), he've been the one coming and going. That, and along with a solo career might also be a reason for him having a big enough name for himself that Sharon see the potential in billing it that way. There's younger people who's only interested in Ozzy solo if Zakk's involved...

I did not think it was possible to detune any lower with a stringed instrument. Every launch of every tour, I find amazement and/or incredulity.

I saw him at Chicago Open Air last night and it was the same set list minus Desire and Believer. You Tube clips from the Wisconsin show of these songs are out there. Blasko kept hitting wrong notes during Believer.

Chicago Open Air's show was very good, aside from too many idiots moshing and crowd surfing. Word to my fellow concert goers; if you try to crowd surf and it's up to me to keep it going, you will end up on the ground.

^^^ Thanx for posting. Only seen the first 15 mins yet, and it's hillarious. But is Ozzy's slurring worse than ever? I've never had this hard a time trying to understand him, and the youtube subtitles just made it worse.
I do enjoy Zakk and Nikki more when they're talking than playing, but it's still cool that Zakk's back in the Oz-team again. Hope that means a possible new solo album will be back on par with the early 80's & late 80's/early-mid 90's stuff again.

That was a really cool interview! Love seeing Ozzy and Zakk together again....their relationship is so great. I'm so glad Oz got rid of that Gus Guy.

I didn't think Ozzy's slurring was worse than ever...actually I've seen him much worse...

Not sure if Ozzy's worse than ever but it amazes me how fluid he can sing when he struggles to string sentences together when he's speaking.

I enjoy Nikki's relaxed interviewing style, guys been there and done that and doesn't ask your typical empty head disc jock questions. He's finishing up his radio show after 8 years at the end of the year and taking the next year off from playing & performing music. Dude seems really at peace with himself these days. He's also got an interview show called "My favourite Riff" where famous guitar players bring in their guitar and plug in play and talk about their favourite riffs and music. Worth checking out.

Agree about Zakk, it's great that he's back playing with Ozzy again. Hopefully with some new music on the horizon.

Rockfest 2018 will be organized on June 6th to 9th in Hyvinkää, Finland. One of the headliners is Judas Priest. The organizers have also told that a known stadium-class legendary heavy rocker is launching his farewell tour and one of the shows will be right there in Rockfest 2018.

Is Ozzy still releasing a solo album?

I look forward to one, being Sabbath are not going to release another album.

Ozzy Osbourne to play Sweden Rock Festival

    Published: November 6 2017 at 08:54

    http://www.swedenrock.com/en/festiva...estival/a-1232

Osbourne-Press-Shot.jpgOne of the greatest legends in metal, and the one who has succeeded the most as becoming a superstar twice: Ozzy Osbourne is now confirmed for Sweden Rock Festival 2018!

As the frontman of Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne co-remodeled rock music forever. As a solo artist he has released ten studio albums since 1980, packed with more classics.

Black Sabbath recently put an end to the band's career, and the time has come for singer Ozzy Osbourne to do the same. Ozzy is now embarking on what is said to be his farewell tour, and he will do one single show in Sweden this summer - at the Sweden Rock Festival!

    Zakk Wylde back on guitar

Ozzy is also renowned for all the great guitarists who have been part of his solo band. Besides iconic original guitarist Randy Rhoads (1956-1982), the most beloved of them all would probably be Zakk Wylde, who has had multiple stints with Ozzy since 1987 as well as become famous in his own right with Black label Society.

We are happy to inform you that Zakk is back by Ozzy's side, and together they will enter the stage at Sweden Rock Festival 2018.

    ^^^

Ozzy is also headlining Download in the UK on Sunday 10th June.

Download Festival has confirmed that Ozzy Osbourne will headline next summer’s festival.

Two years after he topped the bill with Black Sabbath, Ozzy will bring Download to a close on Sunday 10th June 2018 in what will be his first ever headline solo show at Download Festival.

Download Festival’s promoter Andy Copping says: “We’re unbelievably excited to have Ozzy as one of the headliners next year.

“Already hailing from the midlands, Ozzy Osbourne is no stranger to Download, and after Black Sabbath closed the festival in 2016, how could I not ask The Prince of Darkness to come back all on his own? The Download family are without a shadow of a doubt, in for a treat.”

Download Festival takes place at Donington Park from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th June 2018. Standard weekend and RIP tickets are on sale right now - head to Planet Rock Tickets for yours.

The other two headliners for next year’s rock extravaganza are expected to be announced in the coming days. Last year’s event was headlined by System of a Down, Biffy Clyro and Aerosmith.

And Tons Of Rock, currently the biggest Rock/Metal fest. in Norway..:

OZZY OSBOURNE celebrates his impressive career as rock's biggest icon with a final farewell tour; FAREWELL WORLD TOUR. Wednesday 20 June 2018 the godfather of heavy metal will headline Tons Of Rock in Halden.

Five decades, 18262 days and more than 2500 concerts. The career is impressive and mythical. OZZY OSBOURNE (68) has ravaged scenes around the world as a front figure in the legendary Black Sabbath, a band described as the world's first and largest heavy metal band. The heavy metal godfather has had even greater success with his solo career and has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. The coming farewell to OZZY OSBOURNE, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy winning singer and songwriter will celebrate more than 5 decades as a live artist. Which includes both solo career and front figure and songs in Black Sabbath. The tour should take OZZY around the world and expected and last until 2020. -People keep asking me when I'm retiring, "says OZZY. "This will be my final world tour, but I can not say I will not do some shows here and there.

OZZY brings with him guitar legends Zakk Wylde (guitar), Blasko (bass), Tommy Clufetos (drums) and Adam Wakeman (keyboards). Tour kick-off is set to Mexico in 2018 before continuing to South America. Then six weeks in Europe headline for solo concerts and festivals. June 20, it's Norways, Haldens and Tons of Rocks turn.

Don't blame me for the bad grammar, i simply google-translated it and quickly replaced a few things that turned out too horrible...

It must've been love, but it's ooooover noooow....

I was thinking it's kinda shitty that we only get festival dates here in northern Europe, but if it'll go on until 2020, maybe he'll come back for a second run..?

Ozzy will deliver the opening show (and his final show here in Finland) at the Rockfest 2018 in Hyvinkää on Wednesday 6th of June.

Judas Priest will headline on Thursday 7th of June.

Marilyn Manson will headline on Friday 8th of June.

The headliner on Saturday 9th of June is still to be announced. Iron Maiden, perhaps?

The 2-day ticket (and all the normal priced tickets) will be available beginning from Monday 20th of November and it will cost the same price as the pre-ordered ticket for the opening concert + 3-days which became available today.
