After speaking with Bill Ward’s people today, I can pass on the news that Bill Ward will be playing with his Black Sabbath bandmates in the two December reunion shows. Here is what Mark Jones had to say about this (and the rumour that Bill had hurt his hand):
It can now be announced that Bill Ward will play the two concerts at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Center with Black Sabbath. Yesterday, (Nov 24th) the band did a press interview for British heavy metal magazine Kerrang and Bill put down fears that he had injured his hand. Apparently, MTV news had announced that he had, but Bill is in good health and no such injury ever occurred. The rehearsals have gone extremely well and Bill and the band are looking forward to playing their hometown on December 4th and 5th.
