When the fact was first announced that Sabbath was going to be recording a new album, it was hoped that it would be out by Xmas 2001. That will NOT be happening now – as I spoke with someone on the Sabbath tour who said that the band won’t be going into the studio until January 2002.
As for when it will come out now? Who knows, but I’d say Summer/Fall 2002 is a possibility (which is total speculation on my part), I would think. More news when I hear it.
