Here’s a Remaster update: The third batch of remasters has been released. For some reason, Castle has held back Live at Last until the middle of May. On a personal note, I don’t care if they ever release that, I think it’s crap. However, it should be released in May.
- BATCH 3: Live Evil, Born Again, Seventh Star, Eternal Idol
- BATCH 2: Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master of Reality, Vol 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Sabotage
- BATCH 1: Technical Ecstasy, Never Say Die, Mob Rules, Heaven & Hell
So far, the only place I’ve found that is selling these over the net is Alta Mira. You can E-Mail ’em at amcyber1@aol.com for info on ordering them as well as other things. If you are at all intersted in ordering them, DO IT NOW!! From what I’ve heard, Batch #1 has already been deleted from Castle’s catalogue, so this is a very limited run of discs (personally, I disagree with this decision of Castle’s).
If you’re living in the USA, you might as well FORGET about finding these at any regular store. You will have to use an Internet store (Alta Mira), or an import store. Unfortunately, Black Sabbath is really a spent force commercially in the US, and none of these are slated to appear as a US Domestic release. :(
