Digital Distribution Info on “The Dio Years”

Here is some information I can pass on that I was just given about about digital distribution, and other related items regarding the launch of “The Dio Years” in roughly a week and a half:

Starting Monday, March 26, go to www.mp3.com to hear a Premiere Exclusive of the brand-new track, “Ear In The Wall” from the upcoming CD, Black Sabbath: The Dio Years. • March 27 – Premiere of “Shadow of the Wind” [ Link ]
Yahoo! Music Unlimited exclusive early digital single of “Shadow of the Wind” from Black Sabbath: The Dio Years. Get “Shadow of the Wind” as a Yahoo! Music Unlimited exclusive digital single starting on March 27 (a week before release date!) Make sure you’re signed up as a subscriber to YMU!
  • April 3 – Launch of “The Dio Years”
All digital retail outlets will offer the radio edit of “The Devil Cried” bundled as a bonus track with purchase of the entire Black Sabbath: The Dio Years CD
  • April 3 – Real/Rhapsody “Dio Years Bonus Track” Offer [ Link ]
Real/Rhapsody will be offering “Neon Knights Live” bundled as an additional bonus track with purchase of the entire Black Sabbath: The Dio Years CD. This will be the only place “Neon Knights Live” will be available outside of the very limited Rhino Handmade release of “Black Sabbath – Live At Hammersmith Odeon.” When it goes live on the release date, we will have a direct link available to this specific promotion.
  • April 3 – Walmart Exclusive Disc [ Link ]
WalMart stores nationwide will be offering a limited edition 2-pack of Black Sabbath: The Dio Years CD along with a DVD of the VH1 Classic “Hangin’ With Heaven and Hell” interview at a special low price.

That should bring you up to date on all the events and launch options for “The Dio Years”. Don’t forget you can check out a streaming version of “The Devil Cried” now by visiting the Dio Years E-Card page over at Rhino’s website.
