Facebook Screwed Me

Yesterday, Facebook jacked me pretty hard. I had set up a few months back a Facebook page as a companion to this site. I used it to post news there, strike conversation, pretty much that was it. There was less than a dozen pictures, and no video.

However, yesterday morning I woke up to find out that the page was gone. It was “merged” with another page about the same subject. Presumably the official one. I was a bit pissed off, especially as my page was no threat to the official site. The Official Sabbath Facebook page had something like over 3 million “likes”. I had about 11,000.

I’m not annoyed about the posts, I don’t care about those, but the 11k people that had followed me, I was a bit miffed about. I’m trying to figure out if I want to restart it or not, or just give up on Facebook and go Google Plus.

The most annoying thing is there’s no avenue (I can find) for appeal or to fight the decision. That’s it. As the days go by I suspect I won’t be able to get it back, much less the 11k people who liked me. Bit po’ed about that.

Anyone have any thoughts about this? Email me. Tkx.
