Was sent a short tidbit overnight about a possible new album from Tony Iommi. Check it out (story originated here):
It appears as if PANTERA/DOWN/SUPERJOINT RITUAL frontman Phil Anselmo will be heading to England in January to record a full length album with TONY IOMMI.
This is the first I’ve heard of anything new from Tony (other than the delayed new Sabbath studio album, assuming that happens at all anyway). I wrote to Iommi’s management about this, and haven’t heard back from them with info – once I do, I’ll be sure to pass it on.
THIS IS ALL THE INFORMATION I HAVE – do not write me asking for more info, it will get ignored (believe me, whenever I post something like this, I always get emailed "Hey, you can tell me, what’s the real story?" – If I had more info, I’d post it!)
