Next month we will be getting an album of new material from Snakecharmer (that’s also the album’s name), a band made up of some former Whitesnake members (Micky Moody & Neil Murray), as well as a Black Sabbath connection (Neil again, and Adam Wakeman). I should have some more promotional material available shortly, but in the meantime, here’s a video EPK from the label for the album, which is due on Jan 21st in the US, and January 25th in Europe. I love Murray’s work in Sabbath and love early Whitesnake. What I am most pumped up about is having Laurie Wisefield on the album.
Being a huge AC/DC fan too, I looked back in Cliff William’s catalogue and got the 3 records he played in HOME (which was Laurie’s old band). Fantastic group! Very melodic/folky but extremely interesting band. The first 2 HOME albums are HIGHLY reccomended (if you want to discover the lost rock!). The third album was so-so, but I admit I havent given it much of a chance. ;)
